The wine tasting competition was a blind taste judging in eleven categories.

2006 - A Huge Success

Our 2006 Riverbank Cheese and Wine Exposition was a huge success. We want to thank all the visitors, vendors, wineries, cheese companies, and of course, volunteers for participating in this 30th annual event. For the first time, the Exposition sponsored competitions in both the Wine Tasting and Cheese Pavilion. We would like to acknowledge the following Gold Ribbon Winners in each event:

Cheese Tasting Competition

The cheese tasting competition (featuring real California cheese) was judged by the Dairy Creamery Department of Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, headed by Dr. Traver Farkye.

The 2006 results were as follows:
